Bertie Enamel Table Large Pistachio

There's a hint of 1950s Danish about the spare minimalist style of this circular table with its smooth rimless top, glossy in cool pale green enamel, and its iron legs in white tipped with the same green. What makes it stand out is the quality and thickness of the enamelling. I'm very proud of the quality of Bombay Duck enamelling, lavishly thick and all applied by hand - or rather fingertips - like patting down icing sugar on a cake top. As the enamel cools, the finger marks smooth out - if you've ever painted with gloss paint, you'll know how that works. It's slightly heavier than our other tables, and its solidity and triple legs make it super-stable yet it's still light enough to move around for flowers, books or your drink.
